Set of masias in les Gavarres

Complete refurbishment of a set of two masias for private use.

From an almost dilapidated state, a comprehensive reconstruction is proposed using traditional techniques and materials, with the reuse of local stone, lime mortar and wooden roofs, adapting the interior layout to the new use.

Due to the poor condition of many areas, some big openings made of metal and glass are proposed respecting original walls and providing a large amount of light into the interior.

Due to it’s remote location, it is planned to be self-sufficient with well water and solar panels.
